Brief History of ROSOWA

The Road Safety Officers Wives Association (ROSOWA) is an Association which comprises of all women married to Officers of Federal Road safety Commission (FRSC) in Nigeria. Federal Road Safety Commission is a Federal Government Agency charged with the responsibility of maintaining safety on Nigerian roads. All women married to male Officers, are therefore, automatic members of the Association. ROSOWA was formarly registered on 1st december 1998 in Abuja with Mrs. Rhoda Hananiya as the national President.

MOTTO
The motto of the Association shall be "Safety, Unity and Discipline."

COLOUR
The official colours of the Association shall be:Turquoise Blue, White and Marron.

UNIFORM
The official dressing of members of the Association shall be:

1. Ankara - Turquoise Blue and White with the Federal Road safety Commission Logo.
2. Asoke - Turquoise Blue and White background, above mentioned Logo in Maroon
